VAT exemption
If you are hosting an event where VAT should not be charged – for example, an association event – you have the option to remove VAT.
How to do it:
- Go to the event where the VAT exemption should be applied
- Click on event details in the event overview
- Click on the tab Payment
- Turn off the toggle button "My event is VAT liable"
- Now the price will be displayed without VAT and the customer's invoice will not be charged VAT
Displaying prices – including/excluding VAT
You have the option to specify whether the prices for your event should be shown with or without VAT.
Displaying prices without VAT is most often used in the case of B2B sales. For example, in connection with the sale of booths.
How to do it:
- Go to the event where the VAT exemption should be applied
- Click on event details in the event overview
- Click on the tab Payment
-
Check the box “Show prices in the registration form including VAT“

Afterwards, prices in the booking will be shown without VAT
– but VAT will be added on top of the price at payment, and can be seen on the invoice
If you choose to display prices without VAT, you should be aware that the price you have set for the event will be lower.
If the price is 100 DKK + VAT, it should therefore be set to 125 DKK.
If the price is 100 DKK including VAT (80 DKK excluding VAT), you should set the price to 100 DKK.
